Caroline Jasper featured artist at York Art Association

Artist Caroline Jasper is the featured artist during February at the York Art Association. Jasper, whose home and studio are located in Bel Air, MD, is a regular exhibitor in international and national juried shows as well as regional venues.
Her oil paintings emphasize color theory and dramatic lighting, and her subjects range from object studies to casual scenes of Maryland's scenery and historical heritage.
Jasper holds a master's degree in fine arts from Maryland Institute College of Art, where she has also lectured. She currently chairs the art department at Chesapeake High School and served on the Admissions Advisory Board at Maryland College of Art and Design. She has been featured in numerous solo, group and juried exhibitions in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Washington, DC, including the 1999 Riverwalk Art Festival and the recent Open Juried Exhibition at the York Art Association. |
